Message from our Owner

To our loyal clients. I want to personally thank each and everyone of you for your loyalty and the business you have given Baskow & Associates over the past 33 years. We are blessed to have you as clients and friends and we wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year in 2010.

Baskow has ridden the waves of The Storm of 2009 and we are happy to say we have come through with a greater understanding of what's important in life. We have become stronger, more creative, and more flexible as a company and have still kept the momentum for your programs. We have formed closer partnerships and friendships and have grown closer as a TEAM. We are overwhelmed with joy that our clients, strategic partners, and friends are still here to continue our successful journey into 2010.

Best wishes, Jaki

Baskow & Associates Gives Back!

Baskow recently partnered with the Hard Rock Hotel and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to create an amazing day for Diana.

Her wish was to have a day as a "Rock Star".
From limos to make-up and hair and ending with a performance on-stage at the Hard Rock....Baskow helped make this wish come true!

Baskow & Associates is enjoying a 2-yr commitment with Street Teens.

Street Teens is a volunteer based, non-profit organization dedicated to assisting homeless, abandoned, and at risk youth, ages 12-21, in the Las Vegas Valley. Our primary goal is to meet the survival needs of our youth by providing basic necessities in a safe, compassionate environment. We are able to provide access to educational, health care, and employment resource services through our drop-in center and by actively collaborating with community partners.

Baskow partners with our many strategic colleagues on a monthly basis to deliver meals to Street Teens.

This past Fall, we participated in Spread the Warmth and donated hats, mittens, socks, blankets and scarves in mass quantities, again with the help of our strategic partners.

Baskow also held a garage sale this past summer and raised a lot of money for Street Teens to purchase bottled water and school supplies.

Our next project will be to help Street Teens move into their new building.

What's new and Hot in Vegas??

What do you get when you combine THE MOST DYNAMIC CITY IN THE WORLD with EIGHT OF THE TOP ARCHITECTS IN THE WORLD  to create THE MOST AMBITIOUS HOTEL AND ENTERTAINMENT PROJECT EVER BUILT?    None other than the 67 acre CITYCENTER LAS VEGAS!

Las Vegas is alive and well with the opening of CityCenter this month.  Three of the flagship properties, Mandarin Oriental, Aria and Vdara are welcoming guests with open arms  along with Crystals Shopping, Dining and Entertainment Complex.  After taking a tour last month, Baskow & Associates Vice President Scott Washburn, was amazed at the uniqueness of the project.  “There will be nothing like it in Las Vegas, and maybe not anywhere else in the world!  There are so many new visions and ideas that have never been implemented in such a setting.”

Of course, what would a new Las Vegas project be without a touch of Cirque du Soleil with a blend of Elvis added?  That’s right!  The King is back on the strip in the newest Cirque du Soleil Production named “Viva Elvis”  featuring the music of Elvis.  This new multimillion dollar production will be in the new state of the art theater in Aria.

The City of Las Vegas is open for business like never before!

Viva Las Vegas!

Baskow Employee of the Year

We are very proud to announce the 2009 Employee of the Year, Sara Rawlins! In a very tough and trying year, Sara has over delivered in all areas. Recently being promoted to Director of Operations she has, in a very short time, made huge positive growth in the department. Operating more programs with fewer resources, Sara has maintained the over 95% “Very Satisfied” customer surveys while also implementing new and improved process and best practices within her department. Sara just celebrated her 5th year in the office last week and this was a wonderful way to ring in the new year. Congratulations Sara!
