FANTASY UNDER THE SEA
Guests will be enchanted with a soft wispy and whimsical trip under the ocean’s surface to the bottom of the sea.
Please note that the undersea elements can be removed for a more ultra lounge fantasy type atmosphere. We would still use the fantasy colors in soft swags from both the ceiling and the walls and would use a more contemporary vision for the floor supported pieces in either spandex, glow columns or metal and/or a combination of both. We can also change the color scheme if needed to coordinate with a logo for instance. All swag and linen colors can be changed based on the client’s needs of course.
Entrance: Our sunken pirate ship can be position to one side of the entrance and swaged with fantasy chiffon colors of blues, pinks and whites to resemble that of a dream. Real sand mixed with twinkling glitter will be surrounding the base of the ship with a hanging undersea life from the ceiling of the entrance to give the impression that they are truly in a dream world.
In lieu of the pirate ship and sea life here, we could create an entrance with a metal truss arch and swags of the colorful soft chiffon from both the ceiling and the truss itself. Signage would then be done to coordinate with this look. We suggest rose petals in colors to coordinate along the floor leading into the space as well as around the base of the arch for a magical fantasy touch.
Custom Signage: A custom sign can be done similar to what you would see in the bottom of a fish tank on wooden pylon and set into a bed of sand and sea life.
Perimeter Décor: We would like to take this opportunity to drape the entire room with white velvet and soft swags of colorful chiffon to coordinate with the entrance. We would continue this colorful chiffon in different shades of blue and green randomly across the ceiling and would suggest that the hotel ash all of this in soft blue and pink lights. Sea life and hanging “kelp” will add to this dramatic ceiling seascape as well as 3’ round glowing jellyfish to continue the envelopment of a dream. We would also suggest that the hotel position some moving lights with bubble or similar gobos to add a dimension of movement to the space.
Small vignettes of kelp, sea life and sand will be positioned in between the tables with some of the pieces actually touching the hanging kelp to give the impression of a full ceiling to the floor experience. These vignettes will be surrounded by sea life, urchins, sand, seashells and the like.
We would separate the two spaces with soft drapes of chiffon that can be parted slightly to give a view of the continued fantasy or kept shut and then opened only in the center for movement from one side to the other. The moving lights would be a very nice touch on this wall of soft colored chiffon as well.
Though the chiffon walls, ceiling, room divider and moving lights would remain the same for the more ultra lounge feel, we would replace the hanging sea life and pieces among the tables with spandex columns, glow cones or truss swaged softly with chiffon interspersed with the tables to again create an all encompassing atmosphere for the guests to dine in. We can also hang our beaded chandeliers from the ceiling that with the moving lights create an entire additional level of texture in this design. We would also cover these areas in coordinating rose petals around the bases of the chosen columns.
ALL PERIMETER LIGHTS, MOVING LIGHTS AND UP LIGHTS TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LUXOR AS WELL AS POWER TO GLOW TOWERS AND/OR SPANDEX COLUMNS SET AMONG THE TABLES IF CHOSEN.
