BLAST FROM THE PAST!

Entrance: Guests will enter through a rock n’ roll and jukebox arch. A 12’ guitar, music, notes and album flats against a stylized black and white checkerboard backdrop will surround the entrance to the ballroom. On one side we will place a 10’ electric guitar flat, on the opposite side we will place a 7’ jukebox flat. Small tree clusters and a red carpet runner with colorful up lights will complete this area.

Custom Signage: A custom sign, welcoming guests to the event’s event done to look like it were sheet music will be hung from the entrance piece.

50’s: The perimeter décor of this room will be mixed in with each food station, which will be done in a different era. We will start this décor with the class 50’s a buffet table will be set on a black and white checkered board dance floor, buffet linens will be pink polyester linen to the floor with a race check overlay. Next to the buffet table we will place 8 50’s style jukebox lighted flats, clusters of balloons, with album towers being placed on the tables. These album towers will be actual record albums from the 50’s, with album covers and music notes in a stack to look like small columns.

60’s: The buffet table will have amazing 60’s sunshine arch. This colorful 12’ arch inspired by Peter Max. Piece is a show stop featuring the actual front half of a Volkswagen bus with a working disco ball inside. In place of some of the disco balls we will add round flats with images of 70’s rock n’ roll icons. Tables will be topped with black satin with our Hendrix print overlays, on each table we will place a cluster of lava lamps in a bed of fresh daises.

70’s: The tables in this area will be framed by a 12’ truss arch, which will be swaged softly in black and silver velvets. Various sizes of disco balls will be attached to the truss arch among the fabric. With the disco ball in the center have a motor to illuminate the area. In addition to the disco ball light we will also name classic rock n’ roll artists placed on the walls with gobo and colorful lighting. Tables will be topped with black satin to the floor with a silver shag overlay. Each table will have a cluster of battery operated disco ball set at different heights in the center of each.

80’s: Around the tables in this area we will place our funky metal ovals with colorful spandex stretched between them. On each of these metal ovals we will attach albums of famous 80’s albums, Michael Jackson, Wham, Duran Duran. Tables will be topped with red satin to the floor with zebra and leopard print linen. Each table will have tall glass cylinders filled with various 80’s memorabilia, glasses, pop rocks, feather boas, rubix cubes, and magic eight balls.

90’s: Near these tables we will place our cool rock n’ roll chain link fence arch, on this arch we will place electric guitars, skate boards, music notes, bike tires, brushed metal flames and oversized concert stickers, from the concerts like Madonna, U2, and N’Sync. Tables will be topped with black spandex to the floor with red metallic spandex overlay. On these tables we will place large metal sculptures with the same concert stickers all over them. In the center of these sculptures will be a frosted cylinder lit internally with red light.
