Jaki Baskow, Owner

Jaki Baskow has always been a visionary. Her motto is, "Let us dazzle you!" Recently named by "In Business" Magazine as the 2008 Most influential Woman in the Entertainment Business, Jaki has been committed to the highest level of service to her clients since 1976 when she founded Baskow & Associates, a full service company with divisions that include total event, meeting and destination management, a speaker's bureau and a talent agency that provides world-class entertainment and movie casting.

Jaki was recently named as the Enterprising Woman of the Year by "Enterprising Magazine". She is also listed in the Book of Who's Who and has received numerous nominations for the Woman of Achievement Award, Arts and Entertainment Award, and Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Named as one of the Top Ten Star Brokers in the world, Jaki is a SAG affiliate and member of MPI, CEMA, SITE, and IAEM. Baskow & Associates is the Las Vegas Global Event Partner and Jaki has been the subject of a full-length feature on the Discovery and Travel Channels. After years of experience in the industry, Jaki remains passionate about her business and dedicated to her clients.

Jennifer Patino, DMCP, CEO

Jennifer Patino served for over a decade in the casino/event marketing arena experiencing record growth as a result of creative events and marketing plans to drive casino customer market. After transitioning into hotel management for a number of years, she ultimately followed her event marketing passion and joined Baskow and Associates in 1996. Jennifer's ability to oversee the many aspects of managing company growth while delivering exceptional service to Baskow's clients attests to her commitment to excellence. High standards, versatility and leadership qualities have earned her the respect of her clients, the Baskow team, and industry peers. Jennifer serves as the Advisory Board Chair to Global Events Partners, the quality leader in destination management services, as well as on the Board of Directors for Association of Destination Management Executives. Through her leadership, Baskow and Associates has been the recipient of the prestigious "Partner of the Year" award from GEP for 2004,2005,2006 and 2008. She believes in "under promising and over delivering"!

Joshua Jones, DMCP, President

Joshua Jones, a graduate of Colorado State University, has been involved in meeting and event planning for over ten years. He has a unique understanding of both Sales and Operations, as he was the former Regional Sales and Marketing Director for American Golf Corp., Las Vegas as well as Director of Operations and VP of Operations with Baskow and Associates. Joshua's philosophy of "All challenges are seen as Opportunities to Succeed" enables him to deliver top-notch service and long-term relationships with clients and partners. Joshua is very involved in the continuing education in the industry and is a member of ADME, ISES, NACE and LVHA.

Scott Washburn, VP Marketing and Business Development

Scott grew up in the service and creative event management industry. After over 20 years in the corporate arena, Scott joined Baskow & Associates as an Account Executive in 1998 bringing his vast knowledge of experience to the team. "Service" is the most important word in his vocabulary and it was great customer service that helped him move up through the ranks to Vice President Marketing and Business Development of Baskow & Associates. He knows that the Baskow level of service and commitment to the clients can not be out done and continually proves that each and every day.

Beth J. Duke, DMCP, Vice President, Sales and Administration

Beth J. Duke joined the Baskow & Associates family as an Account Executive after working for nearly fifteen years in the hospitality industry, handling everything from special event production and sales to operations management. While still maintaining the duties of an Account Executive, Beth works internally with the Sales & Operations Team to maintain the processes put into place as well as working with outside vendors to develop more business opportunities. Beth's philosophy is that the best service that the team can provide is to truly listen to the client's needs and understand the scope of the entire program and utilize this information to create a unique and customized package. Beth believes that working with the operations team from start to finish is key to the success of the program. "Bringing a concept to reality is what makes our jobs so exciting and the smiles on the faces of the satisfied client and the attendees are the reason we work so hard."

Sara Rawlins, Director of Operations

Sara is celebrating her fourth year in the Operations Department after being a Senior Event Coordinator for two years for Baskow & Associates. Prior to her move to Las Vegas, she was a choreographer for several champion synchronized swimming teams. Her attention to detail and her willingness to make every client feel at ease makes her a valuable asset. Sara will do what it takes to get the job done and make your program a huge success.

Alec Sonenthal, Senior Housing and Registration Account Manager

Alec comes to Baskow and Associates from Austin, Texas and brings with him more than 15 years consulting and management experience in meeting technologies and services. Knowledgeable in both computer technologies and business processes, Alec is at his best bridging the gap between technology and customer service. Alec's duties include creating innovative technical solutions to customer needs and refining business processes to create the best solutions to our customers' needs.

Laurie Musselman, Senior Account Executive

Laurie Musselman enjoys the challenge of staying within a client's budget, while exceeding their expectations in terms of quality and service. She believes each event is a blank canvas that allows her to create a unique and fantastic event that runs smoothly, is fun and entertaining. Laurie has an extensive entertainment background in both performance and management in the hospitality, theme park, and cruise line industries. As a former Cruise Director with Royal Caribbean International, Laurie is accustomed to working with people from all over the world. Her strong organizational skills allow her to focus on the logistics of running a program, while her creativity shines when it comes to creating customized team-building events. Laurie believes that all clients should be treated as valued guests.

Aubrie Pearce, Account Executive

Aubrie Pearce is a proud graduate of the University of Nebraska. She has worked for Baskow & Associates in various capacities for almost 10 years. Aubrie spent most of her adult life as a professional entertainer and has traveled extensively around the world. She feels those experiences have allowed her to adjust to all walks of life! Aubrie has been recognized numerous times as a top producer in her sales career and was honored to join the Baskow team! She loves to combine her sales skills and her vast entertainment knowledge to create a positive, successful, and creative event for her clients. Aubrie's primary focus is to make her clients happy, so you will find her dedicated, hard working & committed to making your experience a true success.

Erin Kneesel, Product Development Manager

A lifelong resident of Las Vegas, Erin is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Business Administration. After her undergraduate years in Colorado, Erin returned to Las Vegas and began working in the hospitality industry for Park Place Entertainment, now Harrah’s. She then attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to obtain her Masters Degree in Hotel Administration. Her thesis entitled “An Empirical Investigation of Gaming Destination Image and Perception” won the 2006 Tourism and Travel Research Association (TTRA) Master Thesis Award and the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration Best Thesis Award. She brings several years of DMC and hospitality experience with her to Baskow and is anxious to assist clients in finding new and interesting concepts to offer their guests in Las Vegas.

Shelle Hedrick, Operations Manager

Shelle Hedrick, a graduate from the Oklahoma City University’s Entertainment Business & Arts Management program, has worked in the event planning and entertainment industries for nearly 10 years. She believes that no job is too small for a creative twist. Her motto is “Every event can be efficient and memorable.” Her Southern temperament and comprehensive attention to detail will ensure that every client feels like a VIP and every program is an absolute success.

Michelle Sandler, CEM, Operations Manager

Michelle is a uniquely qualified team member that always keeps the customers needs and desires as the top priority. Recently joining the Baskow team, Michelle worked several years for a major airline as a customer care supervisor and then entered the event management field in 2004. Achieving her certification in event management (CEM), she has displayed her knowledge and ability to ensure the success of any size event. Michelle’s commitment and professionalism will enhance your event experience.

Dianne Adkins, Housing & Registration/Technical Services Manager   

Dianne Adkins is detail-oriented, focused and customer-service driven. With a background in databases and computer systems management, Dianne adeptly uses state-of-the-art technology to accurately collect and maintain the copious details required when planning hotel blocks and registration for events. As part of the housing and registration team, she pays attention to each client's individual needs and preferences and delivers efficient service which allows attendees to enjoy a smooth and effortless on-line pre-registration, check-in and departure.
